I’m working on establishing a foundation in Frank’s name. My goal is that the foundation would provide artists financial support to study art in some of the places Frank studied. Specifically:

• For one artist to spend three months studying and drawing in the Louvre’s drawing department in Paris
• For one artist to study artistic anatomy at the Art Students League in New York City
• For one artist to do copies at the Prado Museum in Madrid
• Lastly, for one artist to spend three months producing a small series of large narrative paintings that incorporate landscape and figurative elements.

I’d also like to sponsor a free day at the Portland Art Museum on September 7th, Frank’s birthday.
